Duffy is a loveable, playful dog. He weighs about 88 pounds and is
25.5” tall at the shoulders. Although he is playful in the home and
yard, he is a Master Hunter in AKC and a Hunting Retriever Champion in
UKC. He is a seasoned and proven hunting companion. He has hunted from
North Dakota to Arkansas. Duffy’s heavy coat allows him to handle cold
water conditions.
Duffy is an intelligent, quick learner. He came to us through a
relative who was a professional trainer (Doug Lindemer, now deceased)
and who was a hunting buddy. Duffy was 14 months old when he was
discovered by Doug. Duffy moved through the lesser hunting titles
earning both his MH and HRCH titles in 7 runs. Duffy was a qualifier
for the AKC Master National in 2005 and a lifetime qualifier for the
Grand in UKC. In 2010, he became a 500 point dog in HRC.
He is also excellent at stealing socks and underwear from our hunting
buddies in the camp. His playful manner earned him the nickname “Dufus.”
Duffy has conformation champions, Field Trial titles and hunting titles
in his background. He is black from a yellow sire MH.
