“Heart on
her sleeve Heather” is a loving and sweet girl who shows affection for
everyone, earning her a nickname “Heathen.” Heather regularly visits a
nursing home where she is very attentive and gentle with all of the
residents. She is very sweet and gentle with our grand children also.
She weighs about 68 pounds and is about 23 “at the shoulders.
Heather is
a great marking dog, holding both her HRCH (Hunting Retriever Champion) title in UKC and SH (Senior Hunter) title in AKC. She is the daughter of Ramblin
Man, 3xNAFC (3 times National Amateur Field Trial Champion.) She can’t
help it if she loves to do the field work. She is excellent in upland
hunts. Her chiseled, muscular structure makes her very athletic and a
very strong swimmer.
Heather has
had one litter. We kept one of her sons “Taz”. Many of the people who
came to buy her puppies begged to buy her too. She is sweet and docile
in the house but a girl with a lot of “GO” in the field.
